Production Assistant doesn’t quite convey Elle Kenyon’s important role on Team Paperkite. Production Superwoman, perhaps? Elle’s contributions to our projects are invaluable; on any given day, she moves seamlessly from email and blog design to helping create websites and print pieces.

As a Cooperstown native, Otsego Lake is one of Elle’s favorite places and a powerful symbol of home. Currently a full-time student, her downtime is filled with catching up on schoolwork and spending time with her beloved cats Cache, Wally, and Zora. Read on to learn more about Paperkite’s multifaceted Production Assistant, in her own words:
Which projects have you enjoyed working on?
I enjoy working on all kinds of projects, from print design to website development to email marketing campaigns; each has its own chalIenge and I love figuring out a solution. Projects like The Otesaga’s wedding brochure, Fenimore Art Museum’s website, and Capital-Saratoga Region’s email marketing have not only been delightful to work on, but have also given me knowledge pertaining to those marketing realms.
What inspires you in your design work? Do you have a particular style you adhere to?
Every brand we work with has its own unique design palette, but I tend to gravitate towards the more minimalist, simplistic designs. Typography has specifically caught my attention in the last year, so any time we have a project that involves certain type treatments along with clean designs, I get inspired!
What’s your favorite destination that you’ve traveled to? Where would you like to visit?
When I was sixteen, I traveled to Beijing and Shanghai, China with a school group, and this was by far the most incredible trip abroad I have ever experienced. However, I have thoroughly enjoyed visiting west coast US cities like Santa Monica, CA and Portland, OR. The next city on my travel list is Toronto, ON!
